Case study: Designing for immersive impact with a one-of-a-kind of event
AppDirect’s vision for Thrive 2024 was to establish thought-leadership and demonstrate how they help partners grow and scale their business. Generating impact with a first-time event proved a challenge, as did managing the complexity of the event with AppDirect’s existing team.
Encore worked with AppDirect to develop a strategic event plan and provide key production support to achieve their objectives. It included:
- Designing an immersive general session experience that integrated visually dynamic staging with expertly rigged lighting and sound to increase emotional impact and engagement with the delivered content
- Incorporating dynamic motion graphics to reinforce the brand and key messaging throughout the venue at different points throughout the program
- Assigning an Encore stage manager to streamline general session logistics and an overall Encore production manager to coordinate the various creative, production and technology solutions, personnel and resources required
