Following Hurricane Beryl's impact on Canouan Island in July 2024, the group reopened its properties within three months while maintaining $6 million in salaries and bonuses during closure, distributing $700,000 in direct financial assistance to over 100 affected employees, and investing $600,000 in staff housing repairs. The recovery extended beyond operations into environmental stewardship — establishing a Resilience Fund funded by 10% of guest stay revenue, launching coral reef restoration and sea turtle protection programs, and diverting over 5,100 kg of food waste to local farmers through circular economy practices.
