From Spa to Stay: The Pebble Beach Amenity Program
A cohesive story across the resort
Pebble Beach Resorts has welcomed guests to California’s Monterey Peninsula for more than a century, with a portfolio that includes The Lodge at Pebble Beach, The Inn at Spanish Bay, and Casa Palmero, alongside golf, spa, and resort experiences that are recognized well beyond the property itself. Across all of these properties, the standard is consistent: polished service, charming accommodations, and a resort experience closely tied to the coastline and the calm, restorative character of the destination.
Hunter Amenities has worked with Pebble Beach Resorts since 2010. The original brief for their bespoke collection was to create a line of luxurious, restorative hair care and body care products for The Spa at Pebble Beach that guests could enjoy during their stay and purchase as a continuation of that experience at home.
That brief gave the project a broader purpose from the very beginning. Rather than creating a collection solely for the guest room, the vision was to develop a cohesive experience that would feel equally at home in guestrooms, the spa, and a curated retail collection - extending the Pebble Beach experience into guests' homes long after their stay. The strength of the program is amplified by how naturally it carries across all of these moments.

From the spa to the guest room
Developed in collaboration with June Jacobs, the Spa at Pebble Beach collection includes eucalyptus-based shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, alongside a citrus- and seagrass-infused body lotion. The formulas are paraben- and preservative-free, with lavender, peppermint, and botanicals selected to cleanse, hydrate, and restore.
The overall effect is fresh, restorative, and feels completely aligned with the spa experience. Hunter describes the collection as one designed to refresh, invigorate, and hydrate, bringing the serene luxury of Pebble Beach into moments of self-care throughout the stay. The products feel relevant in the room because they begin with something guests already associate with the property: The Spa at Pebble Beach.
The program also extends well beyond the core guest room line. Alongside in-room shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and soap bars, the collection includes VIP products such as body butter, body scrub, shave cream, bath salts, and shower caps, while the retail assortment includes products such as hydrating aloe face mist, body butter, and body scrub.

Materials and presentation
The packaging choices support the same balance of luxury, practicality, and consistency. Bottles use recyclable HDPE plastic, while jars use recyclable PET, both printed with metallic offset ink. Jar caps feature a copper ink coating, and soaps are presented in recyclable cartons with vegetable-based inks, metallic foil stamping, and embossed property icons. Accessories are housed in recyclable plastic or paperboard, with biodegradable details such as cotton thread and cotton rounds, along with recyclable metal components.
These details help the collection feel thoughtfully curated. The materials are practical, but they also present well across different contexts, which matters when a program needs to perform in-room, in retail, and in VIP formats without losing visual coherence and elegant design that matches the spirit of the Pebble Beach.

The value of the right amenity partner
Programs like the Pebble Beach collection show the role the right amenity partner plays in building a cohesive guest experience. It’s not only about product development, but about creating a collection that works across different environments with the same level of care. That requires consistency in formulation, packaging, supply and execution, along with the expertise to ensure the program feels brand-aligned everywhere it appears.
That’s where Hunter Amenities comes in. Hunter supports hospitality partners in more than 120 countries, bringing together development, production, and delivery through their comprehensive process. In the case of Pebble Beach, this 360 approach has created a program that fits seamlessly with the full resort experience rather than stopping at the guest room door.
A collection that carries the experience forward
The Pebble Beach collection works so well because it feels complete. It brings the essence of the spa into the room, extends into retail, and carries through smaller guest details without feeling fragmented. For guests, that creates familiarity and ease. For the property, it reinforces a standard that feels polished from one touchpoint to the next.
The amenity program built by Hunter Amenities for Pebble Beach serves as a useful reminder that in luxury hospitality, some of the strongest expressions of brand experience come not from a single dramatic gesture, but from all the details that shape the guest journey from check in to check out.
