Ben Trodd

Ben Trodd serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts. In partnership with luxury hospitality leader, Four Seasons, this new venture will soon bring the brand’s legendary service to the seas. Trodd oversees the team responsible for the technical operations, planning and deployment, sales and marketing. His role also oversees crew operations and collaboration with construction and design partners Fincantieri and Tillberg Design of Sweden. 

Trodd began his Four Seasons career in 1995 at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, and over the course of more than 25 years gained a wealth of experience across the organization through progressively senior roles in sales, marketing and operations at both the property and corporate level. After opening Four Seasons Hotel Seattle as General Manager in 2009, Ben then became Regional Vice President and General Manager of Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel. As Regional Vice President, Ben had operational oversight for many hotels and resorts across the United States, Central America and French Polynesia including a number of projects under development, working closely with employees, guests, travel partners, and hotel owners. In June 2018, Ben took on the role of Senior Vice President, Global Sales, before adding hotel marketing to the remit in 2019. 

In 2023, Trodd took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at AMAN, overseeing the luxury brand’s hotels, resorts and residences globally. 

Career Highlights 

• At Four Seasons: Trodd joined Four Seasons in 1995 as Director of Sales at Four Seasons Hotel London, before taking on roles across Marketing and Operations at Four Seasons hotels in Dublin, Hampshire, Palo Alto and Los Angeles. In 2008 he took on his first General Manager role for the pre-opening of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. In 2011 he took on the role of Regional Vice President and General Manager at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, before becoming Senior Vice President of Global Sales in 2018, and adding a marketing remit in 2019. 
• In 2023, Trodd became the Chief Operating Officer at AMAN, overseeing the brand’s hotels, resorts and residences. 
• Education: Trodd earned his Bachelor of Science at Royal Holloway, University of London.
