The Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Miami Florida, was once an exclusive 1930s social club. The property has been reimagined by architect Richard Meier and designer Joseph Dirand into a luxurious oceanfront retreat where modern refinement meets the quiet glamour of its past.  

In 2016, this timeless setting became the beginning of a partnership between The Surf Club and Hunter Amenities— one that has continued to grow, evolve, and inspire for over a decade. 

Embodying the essence of The Surf Club 

Every bespoke program by Hunter Amenities begins with an in-depth creative consultation. For The Surf Club, this meant a dedicated session to immerse ourselves in the property's DNA—from the architectural rhythm of its breezeways to the sweeping Atlantic views—ensuring our collaboration mirrored the understated luxury that defines their guest experience. 

The challenge: to create a responsible amenity collection that felt intrinsically connected to the spirit of The Surf Club, both its elevated aesthetic and timeless elegance.

The collection that emerged is deeply rooted in this sense of place. The luxurious formulations are enriched with nature inspired hero ingredients such as green tea, apple, olive oil, cucumber, shea butter, honey, and jojoba oil to nourish and revitalize skin and hair. All products are paraben-free, phthalate-free, and not tested on animals, reflecting a commitment to gentle, responsible care.  

The Surf Club signature fragrance is a sophisticated blend of orange blossom and frangipani, opening with bright mandarin and lemon zest, evolving into floral heart notes of neroli and frangipani, and finishing with warm undertones of raspberry, coconut, and amber. It feels fresh yet timeless, much like The Surf Club itself. 

Where luxury meets sustainability 

For The Surf Club, materials were central to the story. Over the years, the program has evolved to embrace a more sustainable vision, recently transitioning to refillable ceramic bottles and thoughtfully sourced eco-friendly accessories. This shift not only enhances the guest experience but also supports Four Seasons’ broader environmental goals.

The latest collection features refillable ceramic bottles that are designed to age beautifully with repeated use. Printed with soy-based inks and fully recyclable after a long lifecycle, they demonstrate how sustainability and luxury can coexist with ease. Meanwhile, small format tubes are crafted from recyclable PE plastic and printed with soy-based inks, featuring gold foil icons for added luxury. 

Accessories and soaps complete the lineup, packaged in FSC-certified paperboard or recyclable wraps, with components like bamboo toothbrushes, wooden-handled razors, and PLA-based items promoting biodegradability and reduced plastic waste.  

Over the years, this partnership has grown alongside Four Seasons’ own environmental goals, with Hunter helping shape more responsible amenity pathways while preserving the essence of the guest experience. The result is a collection that is visually cohesive and deeply intentional to reflect the property’s high standards and commitment to sustainable solutions.

The Surf Club continues to offer an escape that feels both quietly sophisticated and extraordinary, and Hunter continues to help bring that vision to life with creativity, precision, and the ability to innovate as the property’s needs evolve.
