Marketa Kubickova

Marketa Kubickova is an Associate Professor and Faculty Director of International

Affairs at the University of South Carolina School of Hospitality and Tourism

Management. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Central Florida

and brings extensive industry experience from leadership roles at luxury hospitality

companies, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Breakers Palm Beach,

and The Boca Raton.

Drawing on her professional background, Kubickova teaches a wide range of hospitality

management courses and is committed to providing students with experiential and

international learning opportunities. Her research mainly focuses on competitiveness,

governance, and lodging management with special emphasis on developing economies.

She has delivered keynote and panel speeches at conferences, and her work has been

published in leading hospitality and tourism journals.
